The Québec City Convention Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Natacha Jean as Chair of its Board of Directors.

The Executive Council of Québec (Conseil des ministres) made the appointment on February 25, 2026. This marks the first time a woman has been named Chair of the Board of Directors of the Québec City Convention Centre’s corporation (Société du Centre des congrès de Québec).

With more than 20 years of experience implementing strategic plans in the fields of economic development, entrepreneurship, and education, Ms. Jean brings an innovative vision that will benefit the organization.

“This appointment reflects our commitment to promoting diverse and inspiring leadership. Following a rigorous selection process, Ms. Jean distinguished herself through her strategic vision, her ability to build effective bridges between the public and private sectors, and her capacity to develop sustainable partnerships. I would also like to acknowledge the work of Mr. Alain Aubut, who has served as Chair of the Board since October 2020. His commitment and leadership have significantly contributed to the positioning and development of the Québec City Convention Centre. We sincerely thank him for his valuable contribution,” said Ms. Amélie Dionne, Minister of Tourism and Minister Responsible for the Bas-Saint-Laurent region and the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine region.

Known for her leadership and her results-driven, collaborative approach, Ms. Jean has led several emerging provincial organizations, including Lab-École and Défi OSEntreprendre. She currently contributes to the growth and positioning of Micrologic, a Québec City-based company specializing in digital and cloud solutions.

“Congratulations to Natacha Jean and welcome to our outstanding organization! We are enthusiastic and look forward to working with her. Ms. Jean will undoubtedly be a strong asset to our commitment to governance excellence and to the Centre’s continued visibility, particularly as we advance our Vision 2028 initiatives,” added Ms. Caroline Lepage, President and CEO of the Québec City Convention Centre.

While welcoming Ms. Jean, the members of the Board of Directors and the Québec City Convention Centre’s team would also like to thank Mr. Alain Aubut for his commitment and contribution over the past several years. Mr. Aubut has served as Chair of the Board since October 2020.
