The Québec City Convention Centre is proud to unveil its ambitious new vision, which will guide its path for the next three years.

Beyond its primary role as a venue for events, the Québec City Convention Centre has, over the years, clearly demonstrated that it is a true driver of development for the Québec region. It serves as a catalyst that generates not only economic benefits but also social, intellectual, cultural, and scientific impact. This cornerstone is what inspired its 2028 Vision.‎‎

On the eve of its 30th anniversary, the Québec City Convention Centre is proud to have welcomed more than 6 million visitors to 4,300 events, trade shows, business meetings, and conventions of all kinds. These business tourism activities alone have generated $2.7 billion in economic impact for the region, a major contribution that would not have been possible without the Convention Centre’s presence in the city.

The 2024–2025 year is also shaping up to be the Centre’s best since its opening, with 209 events generating an impressive $193.9 million in economic spin-offs. This exceptional performance is, above all, the result of the talent and dedication of a team that is anything but conventional

A New Mission, A New Vision

In line with its mission to host large-scale conventions and events in a world-class facility while delivering outstanding service, the Québec City Convention Centre looks to the future with the ambition of becoming a model of excellence and innovation among convention centres here and abroad.

To achieve this, the Centre’s team will focus on attracting high-impact events while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. By enhancing its advisory role with clients, the Centre will help maximize their experience and results. At the same time, sustained attention to quality, sustainability, and innovative infrastructure, along with the promotion of cutting-edge technological solutions, will further strengthen the Convention Centre’s reputation as a must-visit destination for large-scale events in Québec City and around the world.

“Guided by our new vision, which builds on our sustainable development initiatives, we aim to maximize the Centre’s impact while continuing to create wealth for the region. By attracting high-impact events and highlighting the many positive outcomes they generate for our clients and for society as a whole, our role as an economic engine will grow, creating a lasting legacy for the community and the region’s key sectors,” says Caroline Lepage, President and CEO of the Québec City Convention Centre.
