After a seven-year absence, Photonics North is returning to Québec City! From May 24–26, 2016, the Québec City Convention Centre will host the 18th annual Photonics North Conference.
This conference on optics and photonics technologies will attract over 550 researchers and research community representatives from government and industry, more than 65% of whom hail from outside Québec.
Québec City was selected as the conference venue thanks to Robert Corriveau, president and executive director of Photons Canada, Réal Vallée, director of the Center for Optics, Photonics, and Lasers (COPL) at Université Laval, Pierre Galarneau of INO, and Mireille Jean of the Québec Photonic Network (RPQ).
