Québec City Convention Centre magazine takes home MIMA award

The Québec City Convention Centre’s magazine Québec Centre struck gold in the Best Brochure category at the 2017 Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA).

The award was proudly accepted by Québec City Convention Centre President and CEO Pierre-Michel Bouchard during the MIMA ceremony, held at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London on November 17, 2017. Key marketing players in the meetings and events industry attended from around the world. The 2017 MIMAs were part of the EVCOM Industry Awards.

In the Best Brochure category, the Québec City Convention Centre beat out Conventions Malta (silver), Bath’s Historic Venues (bronze), Villiers and Cape Town International Convention Centre. In all, 47 finalists were recognized across 10 categories by an independent committee of events, marketing, and media specialists.

Québec Centre magazine

Aimed at event planners, convention delegates, and visitors, Québec Centre magazine uses Québec City, an unrivaled destination for conventions and business meetings, to promote the Québec City Convention Centre. The magazine not only entertains, it highlights trends in the convention industry, as well as the strengths and know-how of Quebecers. Created by the Communications and Marketing team, the magazine has already published two issues, and a third is on the way.
