During the first quarter of 2016, Québec City Convention Centre booked 24 national and international conferences.

The 24 new conferences secured by the Convention Centre’s sales team will bring an extra 16,000 business tourists to Québec City this year and in the years to come. That’s over 28,000 overnight stays at hotels and an estimated $18 million in economic benefits for city businesses.
Among the bookings are a number of repeat customers—proof that the Québec City Convention Centre has attracted a loyal following among such Québec organizations as Association des directeurs municipaux du Québec, Chambre des notaires du Québec, Coop fédérée, Association des techniciens en santé animale du Québec, Ordre des médecins vétérinaires du Québec, and a number of union and political organizations.
The addition of 10 international conferences to the Centre’s schedule is proof that Québec City is a destination of choice for major events. The majority of these international conferences were booked with the help of ambassadors who convinced their associations to meet in Québec City.
