Matthew G. Hatvany, Associate Professor at Université Laval’s Department of Geography, shares with Québec City Business Destination his secret to winning an event bid. Hint: he suggests using geography to charm.

Thanks to Mr. Hatvany’s works as well as his colleague’s, Laurent Bourdeau, Québec will host the 2018 International Geographical Union (IGU) Regional Conference. The Québec City Convention Centre will welcome close to 2,000 attendees in August 2018.
