Bernard Pivot speaks at the Québec City Convention Centre

The renowned French journalist and TV host, Bernard Pivot, Honorary President of the Salon international du livre de Québec, charmed the audience during a reading and interview on April 8, 2015, at the Québec City Convention Centre.

With a great deal of humor, Mr. Pivot shared his decades of experience during an intimate evening on the first day of the Salon, which attracts tens of thousands of book lovers each year.

At close to 80 years old, this enthusiast for the French language and the written word is also a fan of Twitter. With 279,000 followers, he confirms that writing in 140 characters or less is a challenge that he absolutely loves. During his stay in Québec for the Salon, he confirms he will be particularly attentive to Québec’s colorful French expressions.
