A very special new team member is joining our guest services team at the Québec City Convention Centre this weekend! Meet Polo, an autonomous mobile robot that will greet visitors and attendees during the Salon international du livre de Québec (April 8–12, 2026) and the Nadeshicon Festival (April 10–12, 2026).
Capable of guiding visitors throughout the building and transporting items from point A to point B, Polo can also take elevators, navigate automated doors, speak, send text messages or make calls, and even play music. This custom-built robot was developed by Sir Stewart, a Québec-based company specializing in automated solutions.
Polo’s presence at the Québec City Convention Centre promises to surprise attendees and enhance their experience through a distinctive, technology-driven approach to hospitality! This initiative reflects a desire to explore new ways of integrating innovation into the event experience.
