The Pearls and White Gloves evening, a fundraising event for the Québec City YWCA, will be held January 27 at the Québec City Convention Centre. On this occasion, the Executive Chef of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Mark Flanagan, in collaboration with Convention Centre chef, Gérard Michel, will cook a royal dinner for the 200 guests expected to attend.

This glamorous evening will close the organization's Rebuilding Hope fundraising campaign. Every year, 250 women and their children come to the organization to use their housing service. For 140 years, the YWCA has been welcoming those in need, providing comfort, sharing joys, teaching, encouraging, and making a difference.
Tickets are available for $500 on the YWCA website. All profits go to the YWCA.
Mark Flanagan is one of only 25 chefs in the world who are members of the elite Club des Chefs des Chefs, all of whom are current chefs to heads of state. The chef of the royal kitchen will be visiting Québec City from January 23 to 29 to discover all the capital has to offer.
