In line with its eco-friendly commitment, the Québec City Convention Centre is pleased to introduce a brand-new tool for event planners: a sustainability performance report.
Customized for each event, this report will summarize the eco-responsible actions implemented by organizers for their event held at the Québec City Convention Centre. It will present tangible outcomes, linking these efforts to the positive environmental impact of our green facility and practices, all based on average annual data.
Furthermore, organizers will have the opportunity to offset their attendees’ greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions using a virtual tool developed in collaboration with our partners, Destination Québec cité and Carbone boréal. This GHG calculator facilitates the collection of funds to support reforestation efforts in Québec’s boreal forest.
