Québec City Convention Centre's Head Event Coordinator, Catherine Forgues, has been named this year’s Entraide Award recipient for her work with the Government of Québec's Entraide Campaign.
Catherine, a true community builder, has in her seven years leading the Convention Centre Entraide Committee thrown open the doors to creative ideas in support of the statements of campaign spokespersons like Québec celebrity storyteller Fred Pellerin. She and her committee put together effective appeals that bring out people’s generosity.

Her leadership and commitment are part of why Québec City Convention Centre staff have always answered the Entraide Committee’s call, coming through impressively for people in positions of vulnerability throughout Québec.
The generous contributions of staff at the Centre totalled $5,017 for the 2015 campaign. The Convention Centre was also among 2014’s most generous contributing organizations, for which it received an award of distinction.
The Entraide Campaign raises funds to support the work of the following partners: Québec’s 18 Centraides, HealthPartners Québec with its 16 member organizations, and the Canadian Red Cross, Québec Division.
