Rénald Bergeron was Vice-Rector for External and International Affairs and Health at Université Laval. He was a medical graduate from Université Laval and certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), and he served as dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Université Laval and was a full professor in the Department of Family and Emergency Medicine. Bergeron previously held the position of Director of his department, Vice-Dean for Strategic Development, then Vice-Dean for Pedagogy and Continuing Professional Development. He has made an important contribution to the development of several collaborative networks and is actively involved in several committees and boards of directors.
