Ian Gailer is a culture manager/director trained in radio and television at Cégep de Jonquière and an administration graduate from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. He is abundantly involved with the next generation and with many Canadian cultural organizations. His management of the Festival de cinéma de la ville de Québec (FCVQ) resulted in its exponential growth, just as when he served as the CEO of the REGARD festival and as President of the Conseil des arts de Saguenay.
Gailer was also part of the SODEC’s Conseil national du cinéma et de la télévision (CNCT) between 2015 and 2020, and now sits on the Boards of Directors of the Quebec Winter Carnival and TV5.
He recently founded his performance improvement company, GAILER & Co, drawing inspiration from the Growth Hacking movement and the many skills of his network.
