The Québec City Convention Centre was the first convention centre in Canada to establish a support program to help organize a sustainable event, in addition to being one of the major players in the development of the responsible event management standard from the Bureau de la normalisation du Québec (BNQ 9700-253 Gestion responsable d’événements standard, which was in effect until June 2024).
