On September 3, 2026, the Qu\u00e9bec City Convention Centre celebrated its 30th anniversary alongside those who have helped shape its history. Loyal clients, long-standing partners and collaborators gathered for an appreciation gala celebrating three decades of lasting relationships, collaboration and anything-but-conventional events.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

With the Mayor of Qu\u00e9bec City among those in attendance, the evening offered an opportunity to look back on some of the milestones that have shaped the Convention Centre\u2019s journey since it opened on August 29, 1996, and, above all, to shine a spotlight on the people and organizations that have contributed to its success.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Since 1996, the Convention Centre\u2019s impact has continued to grow, generating more than $2.69 billion in economic benefits for the Qu\u00e9bec City region. Over the past three decades, it has also welcomed more than 4,300 events\u2014including over 1,500 conventions\u2014and 6 million visitors, always with a smile. Behind each of these gatherings are passionate organizers, enthusiastic clients and inspiring partners who chose Qu\u00e9bec City\u2014some returning many times over the years\u2014and helped establish the Convention Centre as an essential player in the business tourism industry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

In fact, some of these collaborations date back to our earliest days and reflect relationships that have grown and evolved alongside our industry<\/em>,\u201d said Caroline Lepage, President and CEO of the Qu\u00e9bec City Convention Centre.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
