A very special new team member is joining our guest services team at the Qu\u00e9bec City Convention Centre this weekend! Meet Polo, an autonomous mobile robot that will greet visitors and attendees during the Salon international du livre de Qu\u00e9bec<\/a> (April 8\u201312, 2026) and the Nadeshicon Festival<\/a> (April 10\u201312, 2026).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Capable of guiding visitors throughout the building and transporting items from point A to point B, Polo can also take elevators, navigate automated doors, speak, send text messages or make calls, and even play music. This custom-built robot was developed by Sir Stewart<\/a>, a Qu\u00e9bec-based company specializing in automated solutions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Polo\u2019s presence at the Qu\u00e9bec City Convention Centre promises to surprise attendees and enhance their experience through a distinctive, technology-driven approach to hospitality! This initiative reflects a desire to explore new ways of integrating innovation into the event experience.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Where and when can you meet Polo at the Convention Centre?<\/h2>\n \n

  • Saturday, April 11: Between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in Hall 300 and in the public corridor on Level 3.<\/li>\n
  • Friday, April 10: Between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. in Hall 2000.<\/li>\n
  • Friday, April 10: Between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the entrance located at 1000 boul.
