For the very first time in the history of the Qu\u00e9bec Games, 3,300 athletes from 19 Qu\u00e9bec delegations who will participate in the 54th Final of the Qu\u00e9bec Games<\/a> from March 1 to 9, 2019, will live under the same roof! The Qu\u00e9bec City Convention Centre will be known as \u201cCentrale des Jeux Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec\u201d for the duration of the event and will transform into a huge athletes\u2019 village.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

\u201cWe have accepted the wonderful challenge of creating an exciting and vibrant athletes\u2019 village where all services will be available on site. For example, a number of rooms will be converted into dormitories, and 50 showers will be built to accommodate athletes and coaches who don\u2019t have access to changing rooms at the competition venues. Our valued visitors will also enjoy a huge cafeteria as well as games, entertainment, and relaxation areas on site,\u201d said Pierre-Michel Bouchard, co-chair of the Final and CEO of the Convention Centre.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
