The Canadian Union of Public Employees named 2014 business event

26 March 2014

March 13, the Québec City Convention Centre welcomed the 31st Fidéides Awards of Québec’s Chamber of Commerce, a gala that emphasizes the boldness, creativity and success of entrepreneurs who create the economic dynamism of Québec.
With 600 business influencers from the Québec Region in attendance, the Convention Centre’s CEO, P.-Michel Bouchard, handed the award to Mr. Michael Butler and Mrs. Katia Beck, both with the Canadian Union of Public Employees.

Thanks to this 3,000-delegate event, most  downtown hotels were fully booked for a week in October 2013,  therefore having major impact on the region’s prosperity. In total, 7,500 room nights and $5,2 million were generated by the event.
