Events 5th CIGR International Conference of Agricultural Engineering

May 10 to 13, 2021

May 10 to 13, 2021, the Québec City Convention Centre welcomes 5th CIGR International Conference of Agricultural Engineering.

The theme of the CIGR International Conference 2020 is Integrating Agriculture and Society through Engineering. The primary goal of this conference is to bring together the elite scientists from all over the world, and to provide an unique forum for exchange on agricultural and biosystems challenges and opportunities. It will offer to engineers, scientists and technicians from different fields plenary and technical sessions that cover soils, water, environment, biology, bioprocessing, precision farming, and more.

3 joint meetings will take place at CIGR 2020 :

  • World Congress on Computers in Agriculture and Natural Resources (WCCA)
  • 9th International Symposium on Cement Based Materials for a Sustainable Agriculture (CSA)
  • 4th international Symposium on Gas Emissions and Dust from Livestock (EmiLi)

The host organizations are The International Commission of Agricultural Engineering, the Canadian Society for Bioengineering (CSBE-SCGAB), the Institut de Recherche et Développement en Agroenvironnement (IRDA) and the Association des Ingénieurs en Agroalimentaire du Québec (AIAQ)

Québec City hosts the international convention thanks to Mr. Stéphane Godbout, an engineer and researcher in agri-environmental engineering (IRDA), an active member or the Cercle des ambassadeurs de Québec. Learn more about the CIGR 2020
